Welcome Home Kits for Camp Fire Families Get Delivered!
Updated: Oct 19, 2019

The Throwing Starfish Foundation was lucky enough to receive another grant from North Valley Community Foundation to continue our work directly assisting victims of the Camp Fire. We assembled 150 Welcome Home Kits for survivors settling into their new homes.
We distributed the kits via case managers and community helpers. Here is how the kits were distributed:
10 to be taken up to Oregon survivors
10 for Gridley survivors
43 with case managers working with survivors in various areas
13 for survivors in Orland
5 for the Oroville Tiny Homes project
6 for Oroville survivors
32 for Paradise survivors
18 for folks who are a bit off the grid
13 in Roseville that will be distributed to folks who have relocated.
Whew.
Thanks to everyone who helped assemble and deliver these kits! And thank you to North Valley Community Foundation and the ButteStrong Fund for making this project possible.
